Scope
Marcell is an internal AI system operated by ODS Energy. This policy explains how Marcell handles Google data when access is authorized for internal ODS Energy functionality.
Google APIs and Gmail
Marcell uses a dedicated Google account, [email protected]. When authorized, Marcell may use Google APIs, including Gmail, to send and receive operational communications authorized by ODS Energy.
How data is used
Google data is used only for authorized internal features and workflows, such as internal automation, reporting, operational analysis and authorized communications. Access is restricted to the internal functions and users that need it.
Marcell does not sell Google data, use Google data for advertising, or use it to build advertising profiles. Google data is not used to develop or improve generalized AI or machine-learning models.
Marcell's handling of Google user data follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Humans are not permitted to read specific Google messages or other Google data unless the relevant user has affirmatively agreed to that specific access, or the access is otherwise permitted by that policy for security, legal compliance or aggregated and anonymized internal operations.
Sharing and disclosure
ODS Energy does not transfer Google data except when necessary to provide the authorized internal functionality, comply with applicable law, or protect the security of the service and its users. Marcell is not a public consumer service.
Access, revocation and retention
Access to Google data can be revoked through the applicable Google Account permissions or by contacting ODS Energy. Revoking access may stop related internal functionality.
Data is retained only as needed for the authorized internal purpose and applicable internal policies. When it is no longer required, it is deleted or made inaccessible in accordance with those policies.
Storage and protection
ODS Energy stores and processes data in access-controlled systems and applies security measures appropriate to its internal environment. Access is limited to authorized personnel and service processes. This page intentionally does not disclose internal architecture, credentials or security-sensitive implementation details.
